Shengjing zhijie (Literal Explanation of the Holy Scripture) is a Biblical exegesis written by Jesuit priest Emmanuel Diaz in Beijing in 1636. The text lists and introduces Catholic feast days and Lord’s days, accompanied by corresponding Bible quotes and annotations. The Korean translation of this work is regarded as the first Korean language Bible, earning recognition as one of the 100 Cultural Heritages of Hangeul by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2002.
