조선 후기 실학자 이익(李瀷, 1681~1763)의 시와 산문을 엮어 간행한 시문집이다. 『성호집』에서 이익은 전통적인 유가 사상을 존중해 받들면서도 실사구시적인 견해로 당시의 시무(時務)와 실학적인 문제에 대해서 깊은 연구와 이론을 전개했다.

Details

A collection of poetry and prose by the late Joseon scholar of Practical Learning Yi Ik (1681–1763). He respected and revered traditional Confucian thoughts but also conducted in-depth research and developed theories on practical matters and current affairs from an empirical perspective.
